Team Meeting Highlights Key Project Developments and Future Plans
On 28th November, our team convened at University of Leeds for a productive research meeting predominantly focusing on the progress of the toolkit. This gathering served as a platform for collaboration, knowledge exchange, and strategising next steps towards achieving our shared goals.
The meeting featured a series of insightful presentations by team members, each providing updates on their respective strands of the project. These presentations highlighted recent advancements, explored emerging challenges, and celebrated key achievements. Members also shared key takeaways from conferences they had attended, enriching the discussion with fresh perspectives and innovative ideas relevant to the project. This reinstated the critical gap our research is addressing and the keen reception it has received from those working within the field of MS research (both nationally and internationally).
A significant portion of the meeting was dedicated to the planning of toolkit consultation and piloting phases. The team engaged in dynamic discussions to refine strategies, ensuring the toolkit is not only robust but also user-centric. An MS nurse (who has been involved in testing certain elements of the toolkit) joined the discussion to share her invaluable experience from her pivotal work on supporting patients with DVA disclosure.
As the meeting drew to a close, the energy and commitment from all members underscored the collaborative spirit driving this initiative forward. With clear objectives and a strengthened collective vision, the team is poised for exciting developments in the weeks and months ahead.
