Presentation Highlights from the INCADVA Forum

On Wednesday, September 11th, Dr Shruthi Venkatachalam, our Research Fellow, presented recent work on the MSDVA project at the Inter-Collegiate and Agency Domestic Violence and Abuse (INCADVA) Forum. This important gathering brings together professionals from the domestic abuse sector, medical royal colleges, and health and social care organizations to discuss pressing issues related to domestic violence and abuse.

Dr Venkatachalam's presentation, titled "Multiple Sclerosis and Domestic Violence and Abuse," received positive feedback from attendees. Many expressed interests in the study's future directions and shared their personal experiences, shedding light on the challenges healthcare professionals face in providing adequate support to patients.
